Thank you to everyone who came along last night on the Easter Monday holiday. We now have 63 singers signed up on TeamApp plus there are 30 others who are not on the app. We’re expecting a choir of around 100 singers for the recording, which is fantastic!

It was a wonderful rehearsal, especially with the addition of the incomparable DARREN WICKS on keyboard. Darren also gave us a micro Gospel workshop. Thanks so much, Darren! Also joining us was EMILY PALEKIS, Head of Music, Brunswick Secondary College. She has been preparing the school’s choir to sing There For You; 25-30 students will join us for the recording.

MEMORISATION
Now that you have the part tracks (see link below), please work on memorising the music. This will result in a more polished recording (plus we don’t want paper rustling in the recording). Tip: writing out the lyrics is a good way to learn them.

ACCESSING FILES ON TEAMAPP
If you cannot see the music files or link to the part tracks, it’s most likely because you haven’t logged into TeamApp or because you haven’t selected the Access Group: Playing Our Part Choir Singer.

HOW TO LOG INTO TEAMAPP
It’s very easy to log in and you do NOT need a smart phone – you can view TeamApp as a website on a computer. Here’s a link to log in instructions:
Go to: https://playingourpart.teamapp.com/
Click on: “Log In”. Use the same email address where you receive emails from us. If you’ve forgotten your password, select: “Forgot Password” and follow the instructions.

LOGGING IN FOR THE FIRST TIME?
If you’ve never logged in before, click on “Sign Up” and follow the instructions. Enter your email address and a password. There are a lot of other questions (eg age and address) but you may ignore them as they’re not required.

ACCESS GROUPS
Go to: https://playingourpart.teamapp.com/ and log in. To find the Access Group: click on SETTINGS. Then check Access Groups. Request access to the correct access group, which is: Playing Our Part Choir Singer.

UPDATED PRINT MUSIC
I’ve updated the print music file with the change to the soprano part (bars 57-58) and also added the dedication to Ben Leske. It is not necessary to reprint (sops – you can write the change onto your part). Here’s a link to the new file: https://playingourpart.teamapp.com/documents/414749

Documentary photography Helga Leunig will be at rehearsal next week taking photos to document our story. You can learn more about Helga here: http://helgaleunig.com/ There will be release forms to sign and you have the option not to be in photos if you wish.
